Meet Jamie, Tanya, and the story behind Rides House Farm

Rides House Farm is a labour of love built by Jamie Riley and Tanya Green — two countryside souls with a shared dream of running a smallholding and CL campsite. Having grown up around animals, horses and rural living, they took on the farm to create a peaceful, nature-friendly space that brings people together. From no-dig gardening and restoring local wildlife, to welcoming campers and growing their dog training business, the farm is a reflection of their values and passion for a slower, more meaningful way of life.

Our Story

We’re Jamie and Tanya — and Rides House Farm is our little slice of countryside life. We both grew up around animals and open space, so when we found this eight-acre smallholding, it felt like coming home. We saw more than just a patch of land; we saw an opportunity to build something meaningful.

Over the years, we’ve been slowly shaping the farm — creating a peaceful certified campsite, planting no-dig beds, and building a base for our dog training business, Changing Canines. It’s still a work in progress (and probably always will be), but we love what it’s becoming — and we love sharing it with others.

Our Vision

For us, Rides House Farm is more than just a place to stay. It’s a space to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and reconnect — with your dog, with nature, or even just with yourself.

We’re working to bring the land back to life. Wildlife is returning, our orchard and garden are growing, and there are always new plans on the horizon. Whether you’re here for a weekend, a dog walk, or just a bit of headspace, we’re really glad you’ve found us.
