As well as our CL campsite, Rides House Farm is a growing smallholding with exciting things happening across the land. From our developing kitchen garden and fresh produce, to future spaces like a dog exercise field and a training area, we’re gradually building something special. You’ll also find opportunities to hire parts of the farm for your own use — whether that’s walking your dog in peaceful woodland or hiring our paddock for training.
Growing with Nature
At Rides House Farm, we’re slowly building a space that works with the land, not against it. From our no-dig kitchen garden to the return of local wildlife, everything we grow and care for is part of a long-term vision for sustainability and balance. You’ll find fruit trees in our orchard, veg beds in progress, and the occasional fox playing in the yard — we’re proud to be creating a place that nature loves as much as we do.
Future Projects
We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline. A secure dog walking field with woodland areas is on the way, along with a purpose-built dog training space to support our work with Changing Canines. We’re also planning to bring chickens onto the farm soon — so fresh eggs could be part of your morning here before too long.
